Classic Car Insurance Coverage
Classic and specialty vehicles appreciate in value — standard auto policies don't account for that. Specialty coverage is built around agreed value, flexible usage, and protection designed for collector vehicles.
Agreed Value Coverage
You and the carrier agree on your vehicle's value upfront. If it's totaled, you receive the full agreed amount — no depreciation, no negotiation, no surprises. The cornerstone of any specialty vehicle policy.
Flexible Usage
Drive your classic to car shows, cruise nights, club events, and pleasure drives without the strict mileage limits of some standard policies. Many specialty carriers understand that these cars are meant to be enjoyed.
Spare Parts & Accessories
Covers spare parts, aftermarket accessories, and restoration components — whether they're installed on the vehicle or stored in your garage. Includes custom paint, chrome, upholstery, and performance upgrades.
Restoration Coverage
Covers vehicles during the restoration process. As you invest in parts and labor, coverage can be adjusted to reflect the increasing value of your project vehicle at each stage of the build.
Flatbed-Only Towing
Specialty roadside assistance that includes flatbed-only towing — your classic never gets dragged on a wheel-lift. Covers breakdowns, flat tires, lockouts, and fuel delivery.
Original Replacement Parts
Guarantees that repairs use original equipment manufacturer (OEM) or equivalent period-correct parts — not generic aftermarket components that can diminish your vehicle's authenticity and value.
Agreed Value vs. Actual Cash Value
This is the single most important difference between standard insurance and specialty coverage — for both classic cars and boats. It determines what you get paid if your vehicle or vessel is totaled.
Agreed Value (Specialty Policy)
You and the carrier agree on the value when the policy is written
If totaled, you receive the full agreed amount — guaranteed
No depreciation applied at the time of claim
Value reflects the true collector market, restoration investment, and rarity
Applies to both classic vehicles and boats/yachts
Actual Cash Value (Standard Policy)
Carrier determines the value at the time of the claim
Value is based on depreciation — what it's "worth" on paper today
A $75,000 car restoration could be valued at $15,000 under a standard policy
A $200,000 yacht could be paid out at a fraction of its true value
You're left arguing with an adjuster who doesn't understand collector value
If you've invested in a collector vehicle or vessel — agreed value coverage is non-negotiable. We make sure your policy reflects what it's actually worth.
Marine Coverage
Boat & Yacht Insurance
From fishing boats and cruisers to luxury yachts, marine insurance protects your vessel, your passengers, and your liability on the water. Policies can be tailored to your vessel type, cruising area, and usage.
Marine
Agreed value coverage
Hull & Equipment
Covers the physical structure of your boat or yacht — hull, engine, permanently attached equipment, and onboard machinery. Written on an agreed-value basis so you receive the full insured amount in a total loss.
Marine Liability
Covers bodily injury and property damage you cause to others while operating your vessel. Includes damage to other boats, docks, and marina property. Many marinas require proof of liability before docking.
Uninsured Boater
Protects you if another boater without adequate insurance causes a collision. Covers your injuries, passenger injuries, and damage to your vessel when the at-fault party can't pay.
Medical Payments
Covers medical expenses for you, your passengers, and crew members injured in a boating accident — regardless of fault. Covers hospital bills, doctor visits, and emergency treatment.
Personal Effects & Gear
Covers personal items kept onboard — fishing equipment, electronics, water toys, clothing, and valuables. Standard policies have limits, but endorsements can be added for high-value gear.
Pollution & Fuel Spill Liability
Covers cleanup costs and liability if your vessel leaks fuel or oil into the water. Environmental cleanup is often legally mandated and can be extremely expensive without coverage.
Wreck Removal & Salvage
If your boat sinks or becomes a navigation hazard, wreck removal can be a costly legal obligation. This coverage pays for salvage operations, removal, and associated environmental cleanup.
Hurricane Haul-Out & Storage
Reimburses costs to haul, transport, and store your vessel in advance of a named storm. Essential for owners in hurricane-prone coastal areas where emergency haul-out costs can run thousands.
On-Water Towing
Covers non-emergency towing when you run out of fuel, have a mechanical breakdown, or need a tow back to the marina. Includes battery jumps, fuel delivery, and soft ungrounding.
Trailer Coverage
If you trailer your boat, this covers the trailer itself against damage, theft, and road hazards. Can include roadside assistance for trailer breakdowns and flat tires.
Trip Interruption
If your vessel breaks down far from home, trip interruption coverage pays for lodging, meals, and transportation while your boat is being repaired — so a breakdown doesn't ruin your trip.
Navigation & Cruising Area
Policies define where your vessel is covered. Standard coverage typically includes U.S. coastal and inland waters. Extended navigation to the Bahamas, Caribbean, or Mexico is available as an endorsement.
